LCS Kleen Aire Wins NADCA 2009 Safety Award

(Washington, D.C.) – The HVAC Inspection, Maintenance and Restoration Association has named LCS Kleen-Aire as a recipient of the 2010 Safety Award.  This honor was awarded because of LCS Kleen-Aire’s dedication to ensuring the safety of its employees and clients.

Matt Mongiello, co-chair of National Air Duct Cleaners Association’s (NADCA) Education & Safety Committee, said, “The success of a company depends not only on production and sales, but also how safely each job is performed. Achieving the goal of accident prevention and health preservation is an admirable feat and shows the commitment of a company dedicated to excellence.”

The requirements for NADCA’s Safety Awards are based on standards from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).  In order to complete the Safety Awards Application, a company must maintain an OSHA #300A Log, in accordance with record keeping requirements under the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970.

“We are honored to have received this recognition from NADCA,” stated LCS Kleen-Aire owner, Michael McGauley.  “All of our technicians take responsibility in ensuring the safety of their co-workers and our clients.”

The National Air Duct Cleaners Association created the NADCA Safety Awards Program to recognize those companies that have sustained superior employee safety and health program results.  The NADCA Safety Awards Program is offered every year.

LCS Kleen-Aire was established in Springfield in 1978 by Michael McGauley and has been a member of NADCA since 1991.  LCS Kleen Aire specializes in duct cleaning for both residential and commercial buildings.
