HBACF Helping Scott Bracy through ALS Journey

The HBA Charitable Foundation (HBACF) is a very important part of the HBA. The HBACF is responsible for raising money to help support scholarships for MSU and OTC students studying construction and interior design and to help support the smoke alarm give-away program. There is nothing the HBACF does better than helping our community and specifically one of our own. Keeping our serving projects close to our trade is important; scholarships, education and smoke alarms. But when one of our biggest supporters could use a hand, that also becomes our focus.

Recently, one of our most loyal participants and supporters has been given a medical challenge that affects not only his chosen career, but also how he lives day to day.

“We are honored to help Scott Bracy, Steward Construction, with financial and physical means to support him on his journey with ALS,” says HBA CEO – Charlyce Ruth. She continues by stating that “our HBA family is more than a ‘builder’s organization’ – we have gotten to know each other by participating in various HBA events over the year.”

A fund has been established to assist Scott with his ongoing needs and care. All donations will be managed through the HBA Charitable Foundation. Thank you in advance for being a wonderful, caring group!

If you would like to make a donation to help Scott, checks can be made payable to the HBA Charitable Foundation and mailed to 636 W Republic Rd, #D108, Springfield, MO 65807.  Please note “Scott Bracy” on the memo line so the money can be properly accounted for.
