An important webinar that’s free to all members of the HBA of Greater Springfield on Wednesday, Dec. 14, will focus on the latest EPA enforcement and compliance information for remodelers and other contractors who work in homes built prior to 1978.
This event, which is hosted by the NAHB Remodelers, is called “Working With Lead Paint: An Update on EPA Regs,” and is part of NAHB’s Webinar Wednesday series. It will be held from 1:00-2:00 p.m. (Central Time) on Wednesday, Dec. 14. Staff members from NAHB and the EPA’s Office of Enforcement and Compliance Assurance will discuss the Lead Paint: Renovation, Repair and Painting rule and how remodelers and other contractors are meeting compliance requirements. NAHB staff members will also be on hand to answer participants’ questions about the association’s recent advocacy efforts on this important subject.
This webinar is free to NAHB Remodelers and NAHB members (all members of the Home Builders Association of Greater Springfield qualify to receive the webinar for free). The fee for non-members is $44.95. Registered participants will be directed to a webpage where they can download updates, a work checklist and other information to help them prepare for the webinar.
