The Extreme Makeover Home Edition SE7EN was a once in a life-time event that we all wish would not have been necessary. Helping build new homes for families that lost lives is just a small gesture of kindness to those families. Nobody knows what they experienced because each loss is as different as a fingerprint. The seven new homes are simply a small stepping stone with some hope that a little joy is restored back in their lives and the community.
It was uplifting to see competing builders, that are members of the Home Builders Association of Greater Springfield, join together in this build. Even more impressive was the joining together of builders from the HBA of Southwest Missouri (Joplin) and the HBA of Greater Springfield.
