Builder Jeff Fahrlander Will Break Ground Nov. 5 in Kelby Creek on Dream Home

Builder Jeff Fahrlander and the Kelby Creek Development Team will break ground on the St. Jude Dream Home Thursday, November 5, 2009 at 10 a.m. After much preparation, the team will begin construction on a 3,725-square-foot, Country French-style home with four bedrooms and three baths.

Now in its 17th year, the St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway is a unique partnership where selected builders and communities leverage their skills and contacts to construct a Dream Home largely utilizing donated land, materials and labor. A total of 500 tickets are sold at the price of $100 per ticket, offering ticket holders a 1 in 500 chance of winning the Dream Home.

Beginning March 8, 2010, individuals interested in purchasing one or more of the 500 tickets may do so online at or through approved ticket sales outlets, which are yet to be disclosed. Individuals may begin touring the Dream Home beginning May 2010.

Kelby Creek went head to head with several well-known and established communities in the area who were also being considered for the honor. “The Dream Home winner will be nothing short of thrilled with the beauty and amenities that will surround them at Kelby Creek,” said Marketing Director Shelley Forell. “Having the opportunity to support such a noble cause and at the same time, share our 700+ acre slice of heaven with the community; everybody wins in this scenario.”
