JOPLIN, MO– Millstone Custom Homes, LLC will make a major announcement in Joplin Wednesday regarding a high profile building project that will attract global attention to the city’s rebuilding efforts and to the profound character and resiliency of members of the Joplin community.
Builder Sam Clifton, president of Millstone Custom Homes, will make the announcement and field questions from members of the media at a news conference on Wednesday, August 24 at 11:00 AM, at Joplin’s Cunningham Park. Clifton is the 2010 Home Builders Association of Greater Springfield Builder Member of the Year. Millstone Custom Homes is also a member of the Home Builders Association of Southwest Missouri in Joplin. The local HBA plays a key role in the to-be-announced project, and HBA representatives will be on hand at the press conference as well.
In 2009, Millstone Custom Homes successfully led a southwest Missouri build project for ABC Television Network’s wildly popular Extreme Makeover: Home Edition television program.
“I can’t share the specifics just yet, but tomorrow’s announcement is one of the most ambitious construction projects ever attempted in our area,” said Clifton. “We are thrilled to lead this massive undertaking that will involve hundreds of suppliers, subcontractors and volunteers. Our team is eager to help rebuild Joplin in the aftermath of the devastation we experienced in May,” he added.
